Geekerie Hoops by Courtney Price
I’m consistently amazed that embroidery can be used as a force for snarky, sardonic humor and not just grandma bible quotes. Where there’s shameless irreverance, a needle, and a will, there’s a way, it seems. Crafty Courtney Price has got me jumping through geek-flavored hoops, which you can purchase over at her etsy or give her a shout for commissions.

His name is T.I.
He brought me flowers.
Obligatory outdoor photos.
Here I am, introducing him to friends.

My principal talked about it in his weekly email, but he got it wrong. That tux was some damn fine imported silk.

Our 8 year old found the Pandemic box not put away in the storage room, so she took it upon herself to begin a solo mission. Here she is confirming the maximum hand size of 7 cards. (I had thought it was only 6. She was pretty sure it was 7 and knew to go to the rulebook to find out for certain. [She was right. A proud moment for Dad.])
Later, she came into the kitchen. “I’ve got bad news, Dad.” she began. “I ran out of turns and didn’t save the world.”
“The world’s already a much better place,” I thought to myself. “You’ve been ‘infected’ with a love of games, and it’s spreading uncontrollably.”
Thank you Wil and TableTop. May we never find a ‘cure’.
SO MANY FEELS.
